November 12, 2024 BIEHS Update

Belle Isle Middle School Families,

We have an important update to share with Belle Isle Middle School families. As a reminder, the construction schedule for the new Belle Isle Enterprise High School has adjusted our targeted opening date from August 2026 to August 2027.

With this in mind, OKCPS will not be able to provide a 9th grade option next school year at the Villa campus as was previously shared with families. We understand this information could create questions for you, so we are hosting an information night for families and staff on November 20th at 6pm in the BIEMS cafeteria (Villa campus). During this meeting, families can learn more about the other high school options available to our students as well as learn more about the application process for Classen SAS High School at Northeast and Southeast High School.

While this isn't the news we hoped to share, we wanted to inform our families so they can make the decisions that are best for them.
We would also like to inform families that beginning next school year, our 5th and 6th graders will attend BIEMS at the Villa campus. We are thrilled to share that we will no longer be a split campus.

All BIEMS families are invited to attend the information session on November 20th at 6pm to learn more about plans for the Belle Isle community over the next several years.
